The way we are

By A.Toro

Have you ever noticed how we are differently wired?
If you could listen carefully to this short video you´d notice how the voice of the woman reveals a feeling that the other voices do not show in their flat (and boring) intonation disclosed:

She clearly says: “…to heaven!

Whilst the rest of the voices are even, repeatedly uniformly, to a certain degree like a parrot.
No doubt that type of prayer is checked and monitor by our brain. We´re not completely sure what we would be asked for in those moments and, perhaps, that´s the reason why men´s voices were not exposing inner emotions [Of course! It should be admitted -in this this case- there was a pastor repeating it, “backing up” the prayer] [His surname is French, by the way]
The moment I heard that I was reminded of those words Yahshua (Jesus) said:
For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Luk 6:45; Mat 12:34)

It seems —apparently- that women are more easy-to-read, sensitive or expressive than men but, according to what I have lived (or seen) it is that in several cultures men are forced to hide their feelings, to avoid being misunderstood as “weak” and not manly.
The shortest versicle we would have read could be this:

Jesus wept.” (Joh 11:35)

Was it the reason why the Messiah was not recognized by the Jews?

On the contrary! He was not seen as they didn´t see Elijah personified in John the Baptist (Mat 17:12).

The Messiah was not understood to give Gentiles a chance to repent and to partake in God´s plans:
“(…) whom He also called, not only us, of Jews, but also out of nations. As also He says in Hosea (2:23) "I will call those Not My people, My people! And those not beloved, Beloved!"” (Rom 9:24-25)
Or is He the Elohim of Jews only, and not also of the nations? Yes, of the nations also, since it is one Elohim who will justify circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.” (Rom 3:29-30)

Perhaps Jews might not see their Messiah weeping (Joh 11:35) —showing anything doubtfully “virile” but, the one He is, He will be!
